Heart faces
Up-swept frames pull attention to the eyes and away from your chin.
Try cat’s-eye, angled, rectangular, light-coloured or rimless frames.
Feminine and less chunky styles can suit this face shape well,
especially if your personality matches.

Oval faces
This is the most versatile shape because of the balanced
proportions. Most frame styles can suit, but they shouldn't be
too deep or narrow. Try to maintain your proportions with frames
that are wider, or as wide as, the broadest part of your face.

Square faces
Your features are angular and will look softer with curved
or rounded frames. Try narrow oval frames with more width
than depth. Increase the size and chunkiness of the frames
until you find a pair you feel really comfortable wearing.

Top tip
If you find it difficult
to see how you look
when trying on new
frames without your
prescription lenses
in them, take a
camera or mobile
phone shopping
with you. Have a
friend or the sales
person take photos
so you can see which
frames look best.
